From 28 February to 1 March, in Dortmund, Germany, took place the first exercise of eNOVATION project co-financed with European funds within the Horizon Europe framework programme and coordinated by the Belgian National Crisis Centre (NCCN).
As a partner, ADELFAS took part in the technology exhibition held on the premises of the Feuerwehr Dortmund. The main objective was to disseminate technologies for decontaminating sensitive chemical and biological material (BC decontamination). ADELFAS presented and explained laboratory-scale prototypes based on cold plasma as an example of emerging environmentally – friendly technologies.
ADELFAS will continue to promote the use and dissemination of decontamination solutions for sensitive equipment during the future exercises planned over the three years of the project. It will also help first responders and emergency teams to familiarise themselves with the use of new technologies in BC decontamination.
Through these efforts, the project aims to improve specialist crisis prevention and management capabilities involving #cbrn materials.
